Following the success of the Police Academy movies, the buddy cop genre blew up and F.E.D.S. was the amazing, feminist version! Starring Rebecca De Mornay and Mary Gross as FBI trainees and unlikely bff's - one is a Marine, the other a "pecker head" - but together they make an amazing team and try to dismantle the patriarchy known as the FBI!. This film is a Dumas family classic, and one we quote often and at length! We used to get goose pimples during all the amazing montages of the ladies getting shit done and 20 years later we still do! We'll talk about all our favorite scenes, how the 80s did gift us some amazing feminist films all about female empowerment, and Sweetie brings up the Presidential Fitness test AGAIN, and how bullshit it was to make elementary school kids do a pull up!
