Large Marge Sent Us

Here on the Large Marge Sent Us podcast, Sweety and Sweetie are our names and nostalgia is our game! Once a week (or more if you're lucky!) we watch movies from the 80s and 90s that shaped our childhoods and then have a sisterly chat about them. We usually sing songs and there's about a 100% chance we'll crack up with bouts of laughter. We hope you will too! So come join us and step back into a time when life was good and the movies were even better Logo created lovingly by Frankie Donlon. Follow us on Twitter @TheSweetieClub and on Facebook!

Time for another body swap movie! Wish Upon a Star was a TV movie from 1996 that was oft played on the Disney Channel in the early 2000s and hooked Sweety for life! Two arch enemy sisters find themselves body swapped after one sister wishes on a shooting star one night that she'd rather be her hot sister, than her brainy science fair loving self.  Chaos ensues, but also a deep dive into sibling relationships, the role of confidence in making someone hot/popular, and the popularity of frosty lipstick and eye shadow! We'll talk about our own trials and tribulations with sisterhood and go through a list of our favorite body swap movies and bring back our favorite segment, "That's So 90's!"
